Easter Cards

Did you know that Easter is the fourth most popular holiday for sending cards? Well, now that we know that, we better get busy! How about making some special ones using the Vintage Easter kit?

This little card is 3 3/4″ square and will be great attached to an Easter basket full of treats! The lilies of the valley image is a vintage seal that comes in the kit, and looks great layered under the little duck image that is trimmed from the vintage book paper also included. The numbers that edge the bottom were cut from the aqua Bingo card. The Mini Market letter stickers and the Caribbean Bakers Twine complement the images perfectly! Even the little “oops” of adding the book paper upside down in the corner adds charm (well, we’ll go with that at least!)

Crepe paper is such a go-to item in vintage crafting. Even more enjoyable when the crepe paper itself is vintage! Love the aged color of this blue crepe, and it really frames the vintage button and vintage seal nicely…

Isn’t this chick cute? Each vintage kit includes a vintage playing card that has a cute image on it. This one I framed with Platinum Stickles . The vintage pink ribbon, and vintage embroidered lace also add a neat edge to the card. Of course, who doesn’t love sweet pink forget me nots? These are tied together with a piece of vintage cellophane ribbon.

These are just a few examples of “springy” cards. I think these are the perfect answer to brightening up someone’s mailbox after a long winter!

Create vintage!
