I’ve always loved the concept of using a vintage clothes hanger as a wall hanging, so I was so excited when I found this vintage pink wooden hanger, and knew it would be perfect with the Easter tag kit!
Doesn’t this bunny look cute? I simply added Silver Glass Glitter as a trim to the bonnet, and adhered one of the forget-me-nots (included in the kit) to the existing flower on the bonnet for some extra texture. Then, I used my hot glue gun to glue the bunny to the center of the hanger. This sweet vintage molded bunny can be found HERE.
I thought that a Vintage Bingo Card would offer a good contrast to the vintage book illustration included in the tag kit. First, I trimmed around the image, but saved the scraps for another part of the project. Then, I started the layers! Adhesive foam squares add the “lift” to the illustration. Silver Glass Glitter adds some extra sparkle outlining the “BINGO.” I love how the aqua fonts coordinate so nicely with the Caribbean Bakers Twine-just can’t seem to get enough of that stuff!
With that scrap of paper I saved from cutting out the illustration, I created a simple trim to the top of the Bingo card. Simply cut a length of the book paper, then trim one edge with decorative deckle scissors.
The pink ruffle also adds a soft touch. As does, the vintage ivory crepe when bunched behind the image…
The vintage pink lace adds a nice contrast between the Bingo card and the large tag that is tucked in behind it…
This tag kit made a great home decor project for Easter, and I still have a lot left over for more projects! Now, I just need more hangers!!!!
