A Spring layout

Hey Friends!   Is it SPRING yet??  Really?? because its still been snowing off and on here in Nebraska.  I’m counting down the days until I here the robins singing and see the Lilly of the Valley blooming by the back porch.  Oh.. how I love Lilly of the Valley and Lilacs!  Well, I know I cant rush Mother Nature..but this this  Easter Retro Kit , sure helped bring a little Spring into my world.    This kit is full of delightful Easter and Spring Goodness!

I decided to create a “Spring” themed layout with this darling photo of my mom and my aunt when they were little.

This is a silly question..but have you ever loved papers or embellishments so much , you almost want to save them and not use them? Seems so silly I know, but that’s how I felt about so many of the things in this kit. lol

Thanks to Hiedi Swapp, I am totally obsessed with making these fun little bows:)

I used my Caribbean blue bakers twine to hang my banner letters from.  I just printed the letters off on my computer, and cut them in the dovetail pennant shape.

(below) I love all the little bits of goodies and ephemera in this kit what make creating fun little details so easy.  I just punched out a tab from the blue cardstock to add the date to the top of the page.   I have been working on some more scrapbook pages with photos  of my mom (she’s the one on the right, holding the cat), as we will be celebrating her 90th birthday in Sept.

I know I’m going to be creating much more with this kit before Easter!  I’ll post them on Facebook as I finish them , so if you haven’t joined Vintage Street Market on Facebook, come on over. That way you’ll be sure not to miss anything VSM as going on.

Well.. even if there is still snow on the ground… there are signs of SPRING!  I see them and… hear them!

Happy Creating!
