Hi everyone! It’s Vicki Chrisman , popping in with a extra little Easter/Spring themed post today. I had the pleasure of working with the Easter Retro Vintage Kit from Vintage Street Market this month… and wanted to share with you what I created. I was seriously “giddy” when I opened this kit. Oh my… I loved it all!
You can see the Easter Retro Vintage Kit here
The images on the first three projects ( two cards and a bingo card” are all from just one of the cards that was in the kit. With awesome vintage images, it’s really easy to build a fun card around.
I did a lot of stitching on these cards. Maybe because the images just reminded me of my Grandma so much. 🙂
Bingo cards! ahhh.. cant go wrong there. So fun to add vintage goodies to.
For the project below I just painted a little peat moss cup white with acrylic paint. From there I added the pretty blue trim and a pinwheel ( with a vintage button for the center) to the front made with some of the fun papers in the kit. For the grass in side and just cut and crumpled some of the vintage sheet music. I have made little Easter/and May Day baskets like this for years. ( different variations)..but this time I just die cut a border for the handle out of the pretty papers, and I love the look. Of course you can use wire, ribbon, a pliable twig from a bush… ect. I’ve used a number of different things. It’s a fun and inexpensive little basket to fill with goodies. It’s easy to make a number of them pretty quickly. There are different sizes of peat moss cups. This is the slightly larger size.
Here.. you can see the die cut paper handle better in the photo below.
I thought I’d close with a photo of this beautiful Spring table setting. We had a little Spring gathering with friends yesterday at my sisters house.. and it was delightful!!
