Note holder clip

Hello Everyone!     Well I don’t know about  all of you, but for us, it seems like life is busy these days!  We are in and out of the house a number of times a day, and constantly leaving notes on the refrigerator or kitchen counter.  Sometimes it’s notes to each other, saying where we went, and when we’ll be back, and sometimes it’s just little reminders of appointments or things that need to be done.   I thought it would be fun to make some decorative clip(s) to hold our little reminders.   Instead of my dentist appointment note.. I thought I’d add a little something fun to this one, for the purpose of the photo . lol

Super easy to put together with  the “Dimestore Vogue” paper sheets and tags, some Ephiphany Crafts goodies, a clothes pin, wooden spool, wooden dowl and our hot glue gun.

I make different variations of these all the time. They are also great for holding photos.  Easy to change and update photos and look great in groupings (done in different heights).

If you help with the hot glue, these would be a fun child’s project , using the “Party Games” paper sheets and tags.

I love sharing with you, vintage finds that I run across, so I thought I’d share a photo of some of the cigar boxes I recently added to my collection.  I use cigar boxes and wooden cheese boxes for organization inside the cupboards in my studio.  I can easily label them so I know whats in them with out damaging them by using repositionable tape to hold the labels on.   So much more fun than plastic containers to me.

There is no doubt life can get busy and be a bit overwhelming from time to time, but hopefully, now that you have a note clipped up to remind you  of your next “task”… you can leave it for later, and give yourself permission to take some time for yourself ( to head for your craft room and CREATE).

Take time … Enjoy!
