Julie here again, with a new project using Vintage Street Market’s wonderfully vintage “Dimestore Vogue” Paper Sheets & Tags kit—my favorite!
I just drew my own “dress form”, traced it onto a bit of the pattern-image sheet, and cut it out—easy peasy!
The skirt was made by pleating a piece of the lovely brown crepe paper from the kit, and adding a pleated piece of real vintage aqua tulle, given to me by my mother—thanks, Mom!
A “sash” made from a strip of the beautiful aqua foil sheet included in the kit—so fun to play with! Topped with a button using Epiphany Crafts button maker and a tiny bit of patterned paper from the Vintage Easter kit…a few strands of “Baker’s Twine” finish it off…
The saying on the dress form was typed in one of my favorite vintage-style fonts—Sweetheart Script.
The whole thing is finished off with an outlining of “Platinum” Stickles, a lovely bit of crinkled, aqua seam binding and lace…
…and that’s about it!
So glad you stopped by today!
