I can’t believe it’s the last day of June ALREADY!! Where did this month go? Today is our last day to share projects using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L products. Be sure to leave a comment so you can be entered into our giveaway. Michelle will be posting the winner!
I decided to create a project for today’s post using Dimestore Vogue along with a couple of my favorite vintage finds. One of my favorite things to do is to find vintage sewing notions to use on my cards. I’ve had this measuring time for a while and knew it would be perfect with the gingham paper with buttons.
I also wanted to use the zipper. So, I created a border with them. Using my My Stik Permanent Strips Dispenser was a breeze and really held both items in place! Next, I decided to add texture and dimension to the buttons.
I used the 3D Foam Squares to do this. I peeled back the paper and dipped them into some silver glass glitter, then I stuck them onto the center of the buttons. Quick and easy!
Next, I used my Permanent Strips Dispenser again and added a border of adhesive to one of the Dimestore Vogue tags. I added glitter to this, too, and tied some Marachino Baker’s Twine to it. I used the 3D Foam Squares to adhere it to the zipper and finished it off with a glittered flower.
I decided I liked the card front as it was and finished off the inside so I could include a sentiment. I repeated the same technique from the tag on the die cut and added another die cut for the sentiment.
As you can see, the adhesive not only served to hold things together on my card, but I used it as embellishments as well!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! ~ Anabelle
