Hi Everyone! I hope your weekend is going well. We have been having fun with family, grilling, enjoying the nice weather and time together. That’s what it’s all about right?
Today I thought I’d share a little something I made for Wyatt to hang on his bedroom door. He’s a big boy how.. 3 years old 🙂 I thought he’d enjoy having this to hang on his door. I used the “Party Games” Paper Sheets and Tagsto create this. I had a inexpensive blank wood door hanger I had picked up from the craft door for my base. A simple fun project that will certainly make a little boy smile! ( I also punched out bit of an image from the paper sheets with my Epiphany tool.. and added the epoxy piece to it. A little fun for the center of the door knob)
It’s summertime , and there are so many fun summer activities going on, I just have to share with you some good old fashioned summer fun we had last weekend. Our small town as an “town celebration” one weekend every summer. A parade, carnival, class reunions and all kinds of activities in the park. It’s so sweet and quaint! On Sunday afternoon we took in the parade.
Lawn chairs and quilts set up alot the curbs lining the streets. Little ones waiting for candies to be tossed out 🙂
After watching the old cars, tractors and hometown band take the parade route, we headed over to the carnival, to take in the activities in the park.
A fun time was had by all! Ending the day .. topped of with a funnel cake. How can you beat that? It is the things like this that bring back so many fond childhood memories. Memories that I hope my children and (someday.. Grandchildren) will have for years to come.
Sweet down home summertime fun!
