Crepe Paper Flower

Recently, while indulging in my Pinterest obsession, I came across a tutorial for making crepe paper flowers. As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to use the crepe paper from Dimestore Vogue to make one. It was really quick and easy to do and I love the results.

Here’s what I did. First I punched a circle from cardstock to serve as the base. Next, I cut the petals from the crepe paper. The shape is like a lowercase ‘m’ in order to have two petals.

I pinched together the straight edge and adhered each section to the circle of cardstock. I used hot glut to do this.

Since I used a larger circle, I ended up doing an inside layer of petals, too.  You’d only need one layer with a smaller circle. Once I did this, I finished it off with some Platinum Stickles on the edges and a vintage button in the center.

When everything was dry, I used the flower, along with some Dimestore Vogue papers and a die cut to make this tag. I think it shows off my flower perfectly.

That’s it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!~Anabelle
