Party in Pink

Party in Pink. I loved organizing this little Valentine’s Day party for my daughter’s kindergarten class. Hard to believe that’s been 7 years ago! I was going through old photos and thought this one was so cute, and perfect to use with the Family Fun collection. The polka dot paper is the reverse of the Meghan Kay cardstock. I just trimmed it to 11×11 and layered it over solid pink. A little bit of Soot Tinted Tape in the corners adds just the right touch and contrast.

The tag was created with the pink side of the Meghan Kay paper, and one of the paper doll die cuts and cut out clothes. I love how there are so many clothing choices in this collection…you can truly pick your season and colors to coordinate with your project! In this tag, some platinum stickles jazz up the buttons on her pink coat, and vintage black buttons and a vintage pink forget me not, embellish the tag a bit more.

I love vintage ribbons and lace! The “DOLLS” title was trimmed also from the Meghan Kay paper, and perfectly describes these sweet little girls!  I just loved coordinating all of these classroom parties. So hard to believe how these kiddos have grown!

I hope you have a wonderful, super creative week! Be sure to ask your local store for the Family Fun collection-we are busily shipping out now.
