We have been having such a fun time creating with Maya Road! This project by Cheryl McAdam is one I can almost promise you, you’ll want to make for yourself. So clever, cute and practical!
I chose to use the adorable chipboard purse album for my project, but instead of using it for photos I made a little tote for my scrappy embellies and ribbons when I go to a crop. I always end up taking way more stuff than I need to a crop and then spend half my time digging through it to find what I need. The chipboard pages in the album are perfect for wrapping your ribbon around and I put little velum envelopes on one of the pages for little doodads like gems or buttons. I used papers from the VSM Dimestore Vogue line and the Tinted Tape (Aged), and everything else is Maya Road(except the ribbon inside the album). Aren’t those little scissors and thread spools stinkin’ cute?
(Ok, I have to say, I just LOVE how Aged Tinted Tape makes this look like faux wood! So cool, and a great tip! Thanks Cheryl!)
See? Now, don’t you want to make a little storage unit for your special vintage embellishments?? 🙂
