More Maya Road Fun!

We’re on our 3rd day of creating with the wonderful Maya Road products! This latest project is from Julie and really shows a clever way to use the aqua foil found in the Dimestore Vogue multi-texture paper kit! What a fancy purse this is and it makes a great memory album!

Julie’s notes about this project:

I had so much fun with this project!  I chose to do a “through the years” scrapbook of my mother–using many of the well-kept portraits that I have of her.  I used the pocketbook album from Maya Road, covered it with the beautiful aqua foil sheet from VSM’s “Dimestore Vogue” Paper Sheets & Tags kit and topped it off with a lovely chocolatey-brown flower from Maya Road.
Inside, I covered the chipboard pages with a variety of decorative papers from VSM’s ” Family Fun” kit and embellished them with more elements from the “Family Fun” kit, the “Dimestore Vogue” kit, pom-pom trim from the VSM’s “Vintage Circus” kit, vintage millinery flowers, a few vintage buttons from my collection, “Numbers” and “Linen” tape, and sparkled most of the pages up with a little Platinum Stickles.

The Tinted Tape as a simple trim is a great idea! Plus, its a perfect way to seal the edges when using paper to cover chipboard.

Julie uses Family Fun’s Distinguished Dad paper on this one. So versatile, and looks great with this photo of her mother.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for more ideas using Vintage Street Market and Maya Road products-they make such a great combo! Visit Maya Road’s Design Team today too to see what they are up to, and keep in touch with us on Facebook-so many things go on over there!

See you tomorrow!

I like this idea–I have been trying to figure out what to do with my mom’s pictures.
