Easter is coming up in less than a month, and as sunshine and greenery begin their slow return to my neighborhood, I’m definitely in the mood to craft some Springtime projects!
Here is a look at what I’ve been up to with Easter & Spring products from Vintage Street Market:
This month, I’ve created a mini album, a mini shadowbox wall hanging, and a tag.
Up first, the shadowbox, using the Retro Plastic Plates as a base:
The center of this adorable plate is the perfect house for a miniature Spring scene! I added Rose German Glass Glitter, Aqua Tinsel, Pink Ribbons, Twirly Twine, Yellow Crepe, and Dimestore Vogue Paper to create this cute little decor piece.
Up next, a little tag, which I plan to tie to the basket holding our egg-coloring supplies on the big day:
I altered a plain manilla tag with a quick speckling of various art mediums, and topped it with with some fun layered accents…do you spy that retro snowflake accent? By turning it on its side and backing it with paper & fabric hexagons, it fits in perfectly with the Springtime honeycomb trend!
Other supplies used:
Aqua/Pink Twirly Twine & Tickets
Buttons/Paper from the Retro Easter Kit
For my final project this month, I created a little mini album by simply sewing together a handful of 4×6″ photo sleeves:
One of the new Bingo Cards made the perfect cover, and isn’t that vintage baby-duck sticker from the Retro Easter kit just adorable?! I love it. I added Aqua Ribbons & Tinsel, topped off with a little vintage fabric bow from my Grandma.
Here’s a look at some of the inside pages, showcasing papers, crepe, and cut-outs from Dimestore Vogue, Family Fun, Party Games; Linen Tinted Tape, and more Twirly Twine:
Thanks for letting me share these Springtime projects with you today!
