Hi everyone! It feels like spring around here so I’ve been busy creating some fun Easter and spring projects to fit the mood!
I used pieces from the Retro Easter kit along with the Family Fun paper kit and some pink ribbon to put together this trading card featuring a photo of my mom and her siblings when then were children.
For my next project I made a spring bouquet that is sure to brighten the recipients day.
Wouldn’t this make a fun little gift for a child, co-worker, or friend? To make it I cut two different sizes of flowers from patterned paper in the Family Fun paper kit, stacked them together, punched a hole in the middle and inserted the Tootsie Pop. I created a spring tag with a sentiment from the Twirly Twine packaging card and embellished the container using some blue pom pom trim.
For my last project I made a little mixed media Easter canvas.
This Easter scene was so much fun to make. I brushed the canvas with water and then sprayed the bottom with green mist and the remainder with blue mist and let it dry. For the grass, I cut the tinsel apart from the center thread and glued it over the green mist. I also added some eggs cut from the Family Fun paper to the grass.
Using a die cut bunny I covered it with the brown crepe paper from the Dimestore Vogue paper sheets and tags kit and tied a blue string embellished with a flower from the Easter Retro kit to his neck.
For the sky I added punched clouds made from the Family Fun paper kit and sprinkled glass glitter on for some shimmer. I also added a sun cut from the yellow crepe paper in the Party Games paper sheets and tags kit.
Thank you for visiting!
