Julie here, with a few springy little projects to share with you today…
First off, a sweet little memory card–just for me! (well, maybe I’ll send it to my brother…!)
A vintage-style Bingo card is the perfect background for my little scene…an Easter egg hunt, Spring 1967…and how wonderful that “67” is the last number on the Bingo card!
Pink Twirly Twine, Aqua crepe paper, and a bit of sparkly green tinsel (just the thing for “grass”!), a few vintage buttons & sweet millinery flowers, a little lace…simple as can be!
Did your grandmothers have little “pin keeps” in their sewing rooms? Mine did. Just the perfect inspiration for my next project…
A little clear, plastic container, found at Michaels, is just the right size to hold the pins. Topped with a couple of “buttons” from the “Dimestore Vogue” Paper Sheets & tag set, some Aqua Twirly Twine & a typed tag. Around the bottom of the pin keep, a circling of lace, more Twirly Twine, and more “buttons”, again from “Dimestore Vogue”–easy peasy!
And last of all, a simple gift tag, just the perfect topper on a gift for a special friend…
I used the journalling tag from the Pink Twirly Twine kit, topped with one of the beautiful ladies & a couple of tags from the “Dimestore Vogue” Paper Sheets & Tags kit, as well as a circle punched out of the yummy aqua foil sheet from the same kit.
A bit of lace, some vintage mother-of-pearl buttons, millinery flowers & a bit of seam binding finish it off. And that’s about it!
So glad you stopped by today–happy creating!
