let the sunshine in…

There is nothing like a little yellow crepe paper to inspire and brighten your day.   Created a little gift set using the crepe paper as both a label on the card and as a little gift pocket.  Easy to die cut, gives dimension when stitched and just says “party”.

By simply die cutting multiple layers of crepe paper and stitching along three sides, you instantly have a little treat or gift pocket that is perfect for so many things.  Here I also created a bookmark using vintage book sheet, twirly twine in red and a bit of a bingo craft card.

The card and pocket are embellished with paper from Family Fashion Accessory Kit and Family Fun Paper Kit.

So I hope a little yellow crepe paper brightened your day as well!

    Totally love this layered/stitched yellow crepe, Andrea!

  3. Great projects! Love the cute images and the pretty colours. Crepe paper was a popular and easy to create with staple for parties and favours. So many people don’t even know what you are talking about now. Might as well try to explain Crimpline fabric and phentex yarn!
