Happy August, everyone…Keri here, excited to share a couple of projects.
First up, this birthday card:
I’ve used a few fun techniques here, my favorites being the twine rosettes:
And the linen tape aging/antiquing on the bingo card:
On the back of the card:
I’m thinking this card would be perfect to attach to an individually-wrapped cupcake…what do you think?
My second project for this month is a little Summer Fun boredom buster box for the kids:
I created it by adhering two yellow envelopes together, from the Family Fun collection. It makes the perfect little box for little hands…and it’s filled with an assortment of tickets with summer-fun ideas. The kids get to choose a ticket at random, on those days when they’re dragging & tired & inclined to whine.
The crepe & candy card are from the Party Games collection. Instant fun & a great boredom-buster in the dog-days of summer.
Lastly, a quick photo of a recent vintage gift…my dad sent this, saying: “Keri, I saw these while thrifting and thought of you.”
An unopened bag of vintage clothespins…be still my heart! The wheels are turning & I’ve got grand plans for these beauties.
Wishing you a crafty August, full of your own grand creations & vintage finds!
