Gametime

Yes, it’s surely Gametime…football Gametime that is!  Shellye here with you to share a quick layout of my middle-son, Zachry playing football.  He went from being second-string quarterback last year to starting at Tight End and Outside Linebacker this year…he’s celebrated quite a few accomplishments at his positions so far this year 🙂

I have to admit that it’s a challenge for me to do boy pages!  Having two boys and only one girl, you’d think that I’d do more LOL  For this layout I’ve used  two sheets  of the Captain Johnny patterned paper from the Family Fun Paper Kit…the back-side pattern and the “gametime” title from the front.

For the title I used Thickers to match the cardstock and then machine stitched them into place.  I glued on a border of Black Twirly Twine…I love the pop that it makes!  I use this technique quite a bit…if you would like to try it on your projects, I suggest that you use a Glue Writing Pen (I like Martha Stewart’s brand).

In finishing, I added a scrap piece of the Captain Johnny paper showcasing the Numbers Tinted Tape (my fave!)  A couple of stars from my stash and spritzing of Mister Huey’s Custard Mist was applied.

The best thing about this layout is that it’s Zachry-Approved!  Thanks for visiting Vintage Street Market today!
