New Travel Kit!

The new Travel Kit is now in the store, and what a fun one this is! Filled with loads of vintage goodies! I especially love the old playing cards, and View Master reel and envelope. I honestly did not know where to begin with this kit, until I noticed a Punky Sprouts album hanging out at the corner of my craft table. Decision made!

Those Punky Sprouts albums are just amazing and SO FUN to work with! I love the variety of pages-chipboard, canvas, acrylic… great selection! To begin, I unwound all of the pages, then I covered the front of the album with patterned paper, and layered¬† some book paper and cardstock corners. I attached the automobile game card and the key to the spiral using the rusty treble clef looking clip that comes in the kit.

Using a Bind-it-All, I added some additional elements from the kit, such as the Bingo card and flashcard. I also added in a brown paper bag pocket-instructions on how to make these can be found HERE in the VSM recipe section. Love the really vintage timecard!

Here’s a fun feature…make a little journaling “flower,”¬† using a scalloped circle punch, a smaller circle punch, cardstock and vintage notebook paper. A really great way to add some extra interest and use some scraps. I think this is the perfect spot to insert a title, or date.

Love how the View Master envelope “frames” the card, so that the vintage car just peeks right out!

This acrylic page really adds some interest. So that it looked the same on each side, I adhered the vintage mini notebook paper on both sides. A great place for some journaling. The vintage seal is also pretty cool-love the graphics, and colors.

So, here is just one example of what can be made using this great kit! And, I still have plenty of ingredients left over for several more vintage projects. I wonder what else is lurking on my crafting table that can be altered???

Remember to Create Vintage!
