Sweet Valentines

I don’t know about you, but every time I see a sweet silhouette–especially a Valentine–my heart goes pitter-pat…

I cut a little silhouette with my Cricut, then added all kinds of sweet Vintage Street Market elements…and had so much fun doing it!

A vintage bingo card made a wonderful base…a bit of vintage measuring tape, left-over from another project was just the thing for a border…an adorable pink ticket, ribbon, Twirly Twine…and we can’t forget the fabulous cherry red glass glitter!  {another thing that makes my heart go all-aflutter!}  A couple of perfect vintage red buttons from my old button jars, and that’s it!

My next project, again using a bingo card {they’re just so much fun to use!}–

…a little page just for my sweet Mother.  A Valentine from me to her.  My Mother always inspires me, and always will.  Here again, while looking through some old family photos the other day, this adorable little school days picture jumps out at me–and there she is, with hearts on her jumper–what could be more perfect?!

…topped of with some wonderful printed cardstock, a few old papers here and there, a little outlining with Platinum Stickles, a bit of lovely seam binding, Twirly Twine & just a few of my favorite old millinery flowers to finish it off.

Easy peasy.

Hope you have fun making sweet things for your sweethearts this Valentine season!
