Kitschy cherry love….

Thanks so much for the comments on Ms. Mippy!  Yes her name has stayed the same…with an emphasis on the MS.  Today is my day over at Vintage Street Market.   We were sent some of these sweet little vintage Ice cream cups.   I knew as soon as I saw it I wanted to create a mini pincushion.

I already had the cherry fabric and I used a bit of polyfil .  From there I sewed a vintage red button to the middle to tuft it a bit.  I added some stick pins including a cherry charm, some ribbon, and a button.  I also added a scallop diecut to the bottom using chipboard and a Bingo craft card.

I of course had to make a matching little card using more Bingo craft cards and a few pattern papers from October Afternoon’s Midway and paper from the family fun paper kit.  Well what do you think?  Kitschy cute?  I think so!  Had a lot of fun with this….maybe I am partial since my name is rather fruity too!  Off to a graduation now!  Thanks for letting me share!  cherry
