Sneak Peek Day #3

I just love happy accidents in crafting! They just really open your eyes to new possibilities and get you out of your box.  And, as much as we hate to admit it, I think we all have that box, be it little or large.

So, as I was creating this weekend, I cut out one of the fashion ladies from the collage side of our patterned paper, with the intent of using her on a card. During the shuffle (if you saw my workspace, “shuffle” is a major understatement!), the cut out image flipped over, so I just saw this patterned silhouette.  The lightbulbs were going off!

To make the image a bit stiffer, I adhered the paper to cardstock, and trimmed out the cardstock. Then, I simply added glitter to the edges and a forget me not to her hair. Since this was so much fun, I made more!

And strung all of them to a beautiful piece of soft pink vintage lace for a delicate garland.

This “happy accident” just re-affirmed in my mind how versatile our new papers are, and we are so excited to be sharing them with you!

Create Vintage,

Michelle
