I hope you had a wonderful weekend! It was a bit snowy here in Colorado this weekend. So pretty though. It was that kind of snow that clings to the trees for days, and glitters as it falls. The perfect atmosphere for being crafty!
Well, since we’re off to the start of a new week…send in the clowns! Clown clips that is!
Vintage, retro circus/clown imagery is always so cheerful and fun. If you saw Friday’s post, I’m on a bit of a vintage clothes pin kick. I found these sweet clown cake picks in my vintage stash and thought they would also make great clips! Perfect to top a party treat bag, or even a bag of chips!
And, no clown would be complete without a big, floppy bow tie! In addition to the clown clips, I put together treat bags-an ensemble of vintage circus/clown images and doodads. These mini vintage kits are a thoughtful gift to a vintage-loving friend, are great to create with, or can serve as pure inspiration.
I especially like the very vintage package of school crayons (ie: colored pencils). Neat, neat imagery. The Retro Clown Clips and Mini Clown Kits are now in the store. You can find them HERE.
While creating this weekend, I also found these colorful cards in my stash. I think these are from the 50s/60s. Love how vibrant the colors are, and the illustrations are fantastic!
And, what do you think of this ultra vintage wrapping paper? Isn’t it great??? I don’t think my photo does the color of the paper justice. It is BRIGHT!
Have a wonderful week!
