Party Games

Hi everyone, Anabelle here with my first post! I’m so excited to be sharing something that I made for the booth at CHA. Speaking of the booth, I have photos! One of the best things about scrapbooking and gift giving is the memories they create. Well, I had the chance to spend some time at CHA last week and I created lots of wonderful memories! One of them was getting to visit with Allison and Michelle. They are as sweet in person as they are online.

The booth was so cute and the projects looked great! Here’s a picture of some of the girls from Paper Crafts oohing and ahhing over everything!

And here’s a shot of some of the projects that were on display. See that middle layout on the bottom? Well, that’s mine!

That’s the page I want to share with you today. This is my son and my nephew.  These papers are so perfect for documenting so many different memories: birthdays, playtime, etc. But, I wanted to document the friendship between these two cousins.

You see, they are 15 years apart in chronological age. Mental age? Not so much. My nephew (who is a brilliant chemical engineer, BTW) and Ryan have many similar interests! They both love to goof around, they both love Sponge Bob, they could sit on the couch for hours playing video games and they have a love for all things sugary! I thought the Party Games paper was perfect for showcasing this photo of them, which was taken at one of their favorite places in the world…Disneyworld!

I love to hand cut elements and layer them together. I used the bingo card and frog as focal points on this page. I punched a border from the foil paper and added a strip of the numbers tape to it.

I love the banners on the paper and decided to use them, too. I added more numbers tape to the blank triangles. Keeping the numbers theme going, I titled the page 2 of a Kind.

Thanks for taking a peek at my project today. As you can see, Party Games is a really versatile line! ~Anabelle
