Happy almost, almost, almost Halloween! Still a couple months to go, but its fun to start breaking out all of the Halloween crafting supplies and brainstorming ideas.
I picked up this vintage frame from our monthly French Nest market last month. If you’re in the Northern Colorado area, definitely a “must do!” Lots of vendors with vintagey goodness. 🙂
These delicate frames are so handy to frame a vintage postcard, or a little cluster of ephemera (such a great way to use scraps!).
For this project, I used a vintage scrap of metallic wrapping paper. A little trim of it looks cute pleated, then topped with a string of sequins, and adds interesting texture. A couple spooky die-cuts, a vintage receipt and a creepy plastic spider on a web of tulle, finish it off.
Although its August, pull out the Halloween supplies and get ready for spookier times ahead!
