Glittered Vintage Ornaments

Glittered Ornaments - final

I am hopping around all over between the upcoming holidays, but truly, once Halloween comes, Christmas is not far behind!

So, while the holiday calendar is still a fairly clean slate, I wanted to share a fun party idea – host an ornament party.  These ornaments are easy to put together and can even be completed in assembly- line fashion.  Which is ideal for a party! The supplies are simple as well, which can be handy if you want each guest to bring an “ingredient.”  Or, have them each bring a dozen ball ornaments, and you, as host, can supply the rest!

Here’s a pic of the supplies:

For the official How – To, here is an instruction sheet.

Have a sample ready- made and create “stations” around a table.  Maybe also print out a couple of the instruction sheets for your guests’ reference. The printable pdf is the link below:

Don’t forget to serve cookies! You could even have a double party, and do a cookie swap. 🙂

And, if you decide to do this,  I’d love to hear how your party goes!

So, this year marks the 60th anniversary of the movie, The King and I.  I absolutely LOVE this movie, and my friends indulged me and went to see it with me over the weekend. The local theater showed it on the Big Screen. 🙂

I remember watching this one with my dad. My favorite scene is the ballroom scene. Love Deborah Kerr’s gorgeous dress and watching them swirl around.  If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it. My friends were new to this one too, and loved it!

I hope you are having a great week, full of vintage and creative possibilities!
