Fun & Games

Good morning, everyone!

Julie here with another of my CHA projects to share with you.

This time, I used the fabulous new “Party Games” Paper Sheets and Tags Kit.  Looking through this kit is like taking a walk through your childhood! It really took me back to my birthday parties from days gone by…

(That’s me in the pink dress with my little brother behind me…that little cutie is a doctor now!)

…all my girlfriends gathered at my house after school…everybody in their best clothes…excited for the games, cake & ice cream….such fun times to remember!

I fell instantly in love with one of the images and just HAD to make a card out of it!

How could you not love something this sweet?!

We had so many games and books with illustrations just like this….gives me such a nostalgic feeling! I didn’t have to do too much to the image…just added a bit of sparkle to all the candy, framed the image with Platinum Stickles (my favorite!), and used three of the “lifesaver” pieces from the Tag sheet for little stepping stones…

…I added a pleated strip of the yellow crepe paper sheet included in the kit–so bright & cheerful!  I edged it with some of the Maraschino Baker’s Twine available here

And just for fun…a quick and easy tag or bookmark made with one of the punch-out pieces from the Tag sheet…

Again, just some edging with Platinum Stickles, a pleated piece of the yellow crepe paper, and some Lemondrop Baker’s Twine through the hole at the top–easy peasy!

Thanks so much for stopping by today…and don’t forget to have some fun…vintage style!
