The Games We Play

When I first had a glance at the Party Games collection, I knew exactly what I wanted to create.  I wanted to make a sign for the “GAME ROOM” but I wanted to use a full size game board.  I started my hunt at the local thrift shops, and I hit the jackpot a week ago.

Here is the mother lode that I brought home, doesnt it just make you want to get creative?

Deep in this pile is a Parchessi Board and I decided that one is the one I wanted to use, the colors complimented the papers so well.  So I got busy this weekend and started making my sign.  I added a few extras: a cover to a childhood classic book, a bicycle from Imaginarium Designs in Australia and some play money!!!

This is a huge board, approximately 24″ x 24″ with 3″ letters, it lets you know where you are at and came out really cute.  So get busy and pull out one of your old game boards, a pair of scissors and the Party Games kit!
