Valentine Cards
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner I thought it would be fun to make some Valentine cards using some of my Vintage Street Market favorites.
To tie into the Valentine’s theme I used X’s and O’s for the Bingo markers on the card. This was a great way to finish up a couple alphabet sets that I couldn’t spell many things with anymore.
The flowers in the shop were the perfect finishing touch for this Valentine’s Day card, which I think would also make a wonderful wedding card.
Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it. Why don’t you grab your favorite Vintage Street Market supplies and whip up a couple cards for your loved ones?… Read the rest
Focus on cards
Hi everyone, it’s Diane! Today I wanted to focus on cards. One can never have too many cards in their stash, right?! I know I can’t so I decided to whip up a couple quick & easy cards using the Party Games Paper Sheets & Tags. I used the tag sheet included in the collection for the focal point of both cards.
This first card will be perfect for the hostess of a New Year’s party.
I used the crepe paper to make a ribbon behind the dog tag. For the finishing touch I stamped Celebrate on the banner the dog is holding and tied a ribbon to the top of the tag.
This next card is a perfect thank you for someone special.
To finish the card off and give it a little extra sparkle, I added some Stickles to the ice cream!
Have a fabulous day everyone and enjoy the last few days 2012!… Read the rest
Christmas cards and tags
Christmas festivities are in full swing around our house. The decorations are up, shopping is started and now I’m ready to begin some Christmas crafting.
The first Christmas project I made is a tag for a gift.
For the confetti pocket, I punched small circles from the foil papers in the Paper Sheets and Tags kits and added it to the glassine envelope along with some silver glass glitter.
Who wouldn’t love to receive a package with a festive confetti tag?
My next project is a quick and easy card that doubles as a holder for a gift card. Perfect for your holiday gift-giving needs.
To create this card, I stitched the patterned paper down onto the base of the card, adhered the Tim Holtz Glassine Envelope and embellished it with the die cut house from the Party Games Paper Sheets and Tags set, a heart and my greeting, stamped on twill ribbon.
There are lots of goodies in the shop that can help you make the perfect, homemade vintage Christmas! Happy crafting!… Read the rest

Trick or Treat!
Fall is here and with fall comes Halloween! I love all things fall and thought it would be fun to showcase some of the new Halloween goodies in the shop.
One of my favorites is the vintage Halloween Crepe Paper Fringe in the shop, which inspired this treat cone.
Using my Silhouette Cameo I cut the cone shape and attached black twill for the handle. I glued the Halloween Crepe Fringe around the top and embellished the center with patterned paper, Halloween flair and bats covered with Black Diamond Stickles. This is the perfect treat when filled with candy.
I also made a Halloween card which came together quickly using left over pieces of fringed crepe and patterned paper.
This card came together quickly and will be perfect along with a little treat for someone special.
Happy fall…enjoy the cooler weather and I’ll see you next month!… Read the rest
