Hey there! I hope everyone is enjoying the start of the new month.  I created canvas tags for this month.

I love creating with canvas.  I layered  with vintage inspired items for gifts I gave recently.

I started with the neutral base and added pattern paper from Dimestore Vogue with a button denim Twirly Twine wrapped around it.  I used red labels, pattern paper, and some fabric tags for the focal point.  I painted the chipboard pieces with gold paint and tucked vintage ticket stubs in the corners and stapled for added interest.  The final touch was a garment pin in the left corner.

I hope you are inspired!  Below are list items you can find in our store to recreate these.

I’m a garage sale addict–I admit it!  “Junkin’”, my girls & I call it.  Treasures galore just waiting to be found–and on one Saturday morning, a stack of old ’45′s came home with me…and one of them found itself turned into a gift this week…

A sweet paper doll was given a dress made of chocolately crepe paper.  Flowers in her hand, she sits on the little old ’45 whose center has been newly covered with gorgeous aqua foil paper & a vintage “buckle”. Easy peasy & oh, so much fun!

Hello everyone!  Heidi, here today and I have a card to share with you using paper from the Family Fun Set Paper Kit Meghan Kay Paper, tags from Dimestore Vogue Paper Sheets & Tags and some fun embellishments.

For the card base I used pink lemonade cardstock.  Then I used the pink pattern paper from Family Fun Set Paper Kit Meghan Kay Paper and Sheet Music along with the S5-131 A2 Matting Basics A and S5-132 A2 Matting Basics B die templates to create the matts.  Then I added the pink oval die cut, tag and tickets using 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

For the top part of the card I added some crochet lace trim and pink ric rac from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Then I added the Making Memories Garment Pin with a gem drop and some pearls.

For the bottom part of the card I added a blue crochet flower, pink mulberry flowers, buttons and some pearls.

Thank you so much for stopping by the VSM Blog today!  Don’t forget to hop on over to the Store and check out all of the vintage goodies!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Heidi

Bunny Greetings

Easter is just around the corner, you know–time to hop to it!  I had a few tags & things to get ready before that special weekend arrives, and spent one morning this weekend focusing on just that…

Here’s an easy-peasy tag for that special some”bunny”–with all the perfect vintage elements right in front of me, it came together lickety-split!

Using a vintage math flash card as a base, I layered on top of it a bit of shiny aqua foil, a pink Bingo card & a sweet little bunny–all that was left to do was to add a few elements–a bit of lace, gold tinsel, Twirly Twine & tissue paper garland, topped of by a flower with the perfect little vintage button placed on top…

A vintage ticket with a few alphabet stickers was just the thing to finish off this little Easter tag–

Wishing you lots of fun as you enjoy this beautiful Easter season!
