No Boys!!
Hi there, this little project is made especially for my daughter. Having a little brother can be hard so why not give her, her own little space where he’s Not Allowed lol. I created this little door hanging to post on her door, so that maybe in a year or two when he can actually read it
he will stay out of her room. I guess until then it will give her a sense of ownership, and a cute piece of decor.
I’m Crafty…
We’re on Day 4 of our super fun blog hop with Maya Road. Have you checked out what their Design Team is up to? You can visit them HERE.
This card of Leica’s uses Maya Road music pieces and Captain Johnny paper from the Family Fun collection. I love how she used one of the teal blue rows of the paper to punch out this great border! What a great tip and a great way to use scraps, and add wonderful texture!!!
Jamie’s canvas above shows some great techniques! These Maya Road wooden spools are so sweet and look great with the crepe paper sheet from Party Games! And, look closely at the Maya Road canvas dress form.. That silhouette of one of the Dimestore Vogue ladies was created using the negative of the Tag. Jamie placed the negative over the canvas and inked away. Wow-what a great tip! And, the collage of Family Fun papers in the background not only add color, but lots of texture!
GIVEAWAY ALERT:
And, want to know the best part of this canvas project??? Jamie would love to share it with you!!! Leave a comment on this post, and we will announce the winner of Jamie’s awesome project tomorrow morning!
Have a super crafty day!

My Girl
Hello there and Happy Saturday
I created this Lo of My DD using the Family Fun Paper Kit and the Dimestore Vogue, I also used one of the Chunky buttons. I love the little girl in the Family Fun kit. She is so happy looking. I love the vintage feel as well. The math flash cad behind her is a vintage piece I found at a local antique shop.
I Used the negative of the cut out from the little girl, and used it as a mask to ink in the shadow behind her. Thanks for stopping by the blog on this fine Saturday, and make sure to check out the rest of the blog for fun inspiration
A Gift for the Man in Your Life
Hello and happy weekend. I would like to share with you a card and gift set I created using The New Family Fun Paper Set and Unity Stamp Company. I love the Family Fun set because you have some many style choices. Men, women, boys, girls. You are set for all in one pack.
It even comes with envelopes you can put together. I did that and made a tag to slip in. I used the unity stamp to make an embellishment to put onto the front. I aged the stamped image and rounded the corners. I used the Soot- Tinted Tape on the gift and the tag.
The small stamps are the perfect finishing touches. I hope this gave you inspiration to create something this weekend and make sure to check out Unity Stamps and the Vintage Street Market websites

Still going….
What a fun week! We’re still going strong, and having fun creating with Basically Bare alterable products. So, for Day 3, we have a few more great projects to share….
The first one is from Jamie Dougherty. Jamie uses the Family Fun Paper Kit to embellish this great little Basically Bare alterable book. The canvas heart in the center is also a Basically Bare alterable, and looks great painted red, and framed by the vintage children images.
This next playful project comes from Leica Forrest. For this layout, Leica combined elements from both Party Games and Dimestore Vogue. Basically Bare acrylic buttons really enhance the game tokens and polka dots. That sweet little banner also comes from Basically Bare, which Leica covered with Party Games red foil and polka dots. Love the depth it adds! Linen Tinted Tape adds a subtle accent to the corners of the photo too…
Some close ups…
Vintage Street Market products work so well with Basically Bare. I hope these projects are giving you tons of inspiration! And, don’t forget, there’s more to come tomorrow!
