Easter Joys
Spring is springing up all around, isn’t it?! I love working on springtime projects–especially for sweet Easter treats to give away to friends and family…
…and this one was particularly fun! A vintage ice cream cup was the main inspiration for this little treat cup–tissue paper garland trim, lace & tinsel quickly found their places around the cup. A lovely blue flower with bingo marker center graced the front, and then there was nothing else to do but…
…hang a pennant banner on some Twirly Twine! Made from the bottom row of a bingo card, the little squares made my triangles easy peasy to measure & cut. From first to last, this was loads of fun to make–all thanks to the lovely vintage ingredients close at hand from Vintage Street Market!

Sweet Valentines
I don’t know about you, but every time I see a sweet silhouette–especially a Valentine–my heart goes pitter-pat…
I cut a little silhouette with my Cricut, then added all kinds of sweet Vintage Street Market elements…and had so much fun doing it!
A vintage bingo card made a wonderful base…a bit of vintage measuring tape, left-over from another project was just the thing for a border…an adorable pink ticket, ribbon, Twirly Twine…and we can’t forget the fabulous cherry red glass glitter! {another thing that makes my heart go all-aflutter!} A couple of perfect vintage red buttons from my old button jars, and that’s it!
My next project, again using a bingo card {they’re just so much fun to use!}–
…a little page just for my sweet Mother. A Valentine from me to her. My Mother always inspires me, and always will. Here again, while looking through some old family photos the other day, this adorable little school days picture jumps out at me–and there she is, with hearts on her jumper–what could be more perfect?!
…topped of with some wonderful printed cardstock, a few old papers here and there, a little outlining with Platinum Stickles, a bit of lovely seam binding, Twirly Twine & just a few of my favorite old millinery flowers to finish it off.
Easy peasy.
Hope you have fun making sweet things for your sweethearts this Valentine season!

Valentine Fun
Happy New Year, everyone! Julie here, with a couple of Valentine-inspired projects to share with you. I know we just finished Christmas (wasn’t it wonderful?!), but it’s never too early to get started on a few Valentines for your favorite people…
A sweet little paper doll from the Family Fun collection is the focal point of this easy peasy Valentine. Sitting on a vintage Bingo card…
…and skirted with some lovely pink crepe paper, it’s easy to add any embellishment your heart desires…
Next–an adorable little Valentine boy with heart-in-hand…
Perched on a cute little bucket from the Dollar Section at Target and surrounded by all the vintage trappings of Valentines’ Day, it’s he’s all ready to be filled with some tasty treats to be given to a special friend…
Wishing you buckets of fun in the upcoming season!

Christmas: Retro & Victorian Style!
Hello, everyone–and Happy December! Hard to believe it’s upon us already, but ready or not–here we go!
Just a couple of projects to share with you today–I did a bit of vintage, Victorian Christmas & Retro Christmas–can never decide which I love more!
We’ll go Victorian first–an ornament made using a bit of vintage tinsel trim, chocolatey brown crepe paper & lovely aqua foil (both from the Dimestore Vogue kit), vintage sheet music, an original bit of Victorian scrap–good ole Santa himself–and some beautiful vintage gold dresden–the Merry Christmas sign…I love it all!
Now to retro–
…an adorable photo found by googling, perfect red & white checked paper from the Family Fun kit, a bit of vintage sheet music, an oversized retro bow, Twirly Twine, vintage buttons, lace, old Christmas seals (love them!), some red & green old game money, a big, green Bingo card, and a jolly plastic “Merry Christmas” meant to hang from tree or package–I had so much fun putting it all together!
Wishing you all a wonderfully glorious Christmas season!

Christmas Joys
Hello, everyone!
Julie here with a couple of projects all ready for Christmas…
This quick & easy tag would be perfect for a gift–a large bingo card was used for the base–nice & red, of course! A vintage photo (isn’t this one adorable?!) some lace, ribbon, Stickles, “Linen” Tinted Tape…
…and a wonderfully retro Christmas light reflector!
Next up, another easy peasy project, all ready for your favorite little elf…
Do you remember getting these stockings filled with Christmas goodies when you were a kid? I sure do! (guess I’m giving my age a way!) So fun to play with them once again–filling them with some sweet treats & decorating them with some fabulous Christmas ephemera & trim…
Wishing you wonderfully creative days ahead as you think & plan for the Christmas treats you’ll make & give!
