What is the stories of those people?
Have you ever seen vintage photos and wondered what the stories are of all those people on the photo? Like this one is from my grand aunts’ school and sometimes I wonder about the stories of all those people later on, especially in those times to follow in Europe.
I used the packaging paper of the wonderful “Family Fun Paper Kit” and the Dimestore Vogue banner.
Have a gorgeous day
Fashion is a Statement
I love vintage fashion – and this photo of my grandaunt Margot and her best friend – showing them wearing the same clothing is so much fun. They did this a lot to show how close they were. The photo was taken at the beach where they took several days to get there by bike. Often they sewed their clothing so it would match. They both met their later husbands on one of those tours- they were also friends – not sure if they wore also the same clothing
– I might have to ask
I used the “Family Fun Paper Kit” with this photo and also some beautiful Crafty Secrets paper and Maya Road Canvas.
Would you nowadays walk around in the same clothes as your best friend?
Have a gorgeous day
Hausfrau
Don’t laugh at me ….this layout was something I was smiling while doing it, tongue in cheak included and photoless.
I totally love the wonderful images on the Family Paper Pack especially for a while now I have a nack for 50s clothing and last CHA you could have seen me wearing a nice 50s Sailor dress (and I have a new style for the coming CHA
) . I love 50s furniture too. But there is one thing that I really don’t wish back….the way how a women’s path was determined back then. I think we are very fortunate today that the way how women are treated and the possibilties that women have nowadays have changed so much. Although….a bit of gentlemen attitude by men could definetly come back – LOL.
A little Memo- on yes I like it clean – but no – I’m not a Hausfrau
I used my new yum yum Tonic Studios Border Punches with the Papers and also with my all time favorite metallic paper sheet from the Dimestore Vogue Kit. What do you like from the 50s?
Have a gorgeous day
Boy Birthday Card
I’m not a great cardmaker ….but…something about the Vintage Street Market makes me really love doing them because I still think making a card yourself is better than buying one
(hopefuly the recipents think so too- LOL) So here is a litte card for a little boy in my family with the Family Fun Paper and Family Fashion Accessory Kit.
have a great day
Beauty
Traveling is something I really love- actually I think it runs in the family. All my family always loved to travel. One of my favorite trips was going to Yellowstone last year – Soooo beautiful there! And here we go a layout about the beauty fo nature using the Family Fun Kit.
I used some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Colors to change the background color and then used a Crafter’s Workshop Template with Modeling Paste and sprayed again.
I love how versatile the papers are and that you can also use them in a more grungy than vintagey approach
What was your favorite vacation so far?
Have a wonderful day
