Many Moods of Bingo
As the final post of the month highlighting bingo cards, I have two layouts and some family game night coasters. I just love the bingo craft cards! There are so many ways to weave them into designs and use them for altered projects.
My first layout is to honor a very special high school graduate and colleague’s son. I made this layout for a shadow box for his mom and dad to have at their home. I also did a complete football themed graduation album for this athletic young man. The layout features twirly twine in red, vintage buttons, tinted tape and paper from the family fun line. I love how all these elements came together to create a very masculine page.
This second layout features a 1940s photo of my grandma. The background paper is again from the Family Fun line, as is the great paper doll. The tag has twirly twine, more elements cut from the Family Fun line. The photo appears to be taped down with aged Tinted Tape. I added a bingo card and lots of vintage elements. I love this photo of my grandma, which was taken shortly after they immigrated to the United States from England in the late 1940s.
My final project was to make some coasters for family game night. This super quick project uses Bingo Cards, Elements from the Family Fun line, glitter glue and clear contact paper. It is easy as one-two-three to get these super cute coasters.
1. Chose bingo cards and images.
2. Adhere images and decorate with glitter glue or other embellishments of your choice
3. Cover both sides of the bingo card with clear contact paper (shelf-liner) overlapping the edges by 1/4 inch all the way around. AND BINGO! Family game night coasters!

Creating with Bingo Cards
I love the look that vintage inspired bingo cards give to any art projects. They bring a sense of fun and carefree days gone by.
My first project used one of the many bingo cards in Bingo Craft Cards, foil and pattern paper in the Dimestore Vogue and Twirly Twine to complete.
Bingo cards are so versatile that they can be included on cards, layouts and more.
I included a Bingo Craft Card in a recent layout celebrating two wonderful sisters and mothers sharing one love.
Paired with the pattern paper from the Family Fun Paper Kit and the Bingo Craft Cards , it gives this layout a feel of days gone by.
Inspired by my love of garden, for my last project I created a gift bag using another of the Bingo Craft Cards.
I stamped and added colored mist to the Bingo Craft Card, added the brown crepe sheet from Dimestore Vogue , Twirly Twine and Soot Tinted Tape.
Each project gets that vintage feel with these beautiful Bingo Craft Cards .
Wishing you a creative day.
Sheila
Heartfelt greetings and a layout
Hello everyone! Can you believe the end of May is upon us?! I know, me neither! School is out and I’m looking forward to a less structured schedule for a couple months.
As I set about creating my projects this month you would have thought that it was February…2 of my 3 ideas revolved around hearts and love. I decided to go with it anyway!
My first card features the fun papers in the Dimestore Vogue Paper Sheets & Tags, which is one of the featured items this month.
The tags and buttons included in the kit made it quick and easy to create.
My next card featured paper from Dimestore Vogue and Family Fashion Accessory Kit.
I used my die cutting machine to cut the hearts and a small envelope out of vellum. I positioned the hearts to look like they are coming up out of the envelope and added some Twirly Twine and a heart pin for the finishing touch.
Last up is the layout I made featuring a heart covered with the “Numbers Tinted Tape.”
I used paper from the Family Fun Paper Kit and the Dimestore Vogue Kit. I finished it off with some splatters of glass glitter and vintage ribbon trim.
One last thing before I go…have you seen the new vintage goodies that appeared in the shop? There are some fun things for 4th of July or patriotic celebrations, some sweet baby pins, and vintage wooden spools. There are lots of cool and unique things in the shop to fulfill your summer crafty needs! Go check it out!… Read the rest

Card fun with bingo craft cards!
Hello!
I don’t know about you but I love the bingo craft cards and easily use them on a ton of projects. They are fun, versatile and add vintage whimsy. I think they are easy to use on pages and cards, not to mention other altered projects!
I love to use the bingo craft cards on birthday cards in particular because of the correlation between the number on the cards and dates! You could easily highlight an age or birthdate on the bingo card!
Another fun way to use the bingo craft cards is as a background instead of patterned paper! I had lots of fun with a coordinated bingo card as the background of the Christmas card! (I’ve been on a Christmas kick this week!)
How do you like to use the bingo craft cards in your designs? I’d love to see!
