cup of tea…
Happy Friday! Time to sit back and relax a little, maybe with some vintage goodies and a cup of tea. To jump start your weekend, here to share a gift set that is both easy to create and have some fun along the way.
Recently organizing my craft room when I came across these teacup, spoon and tea bag chipboard pieces. After removing the top layer of each piece and inking the edges to darken them, they were a perfect addition and theme for my project. Headed on over to Pinterest for a tea quote that was printed onto cardstock and trimmed.
Began assembling this gift set by created a stuffed heart wall hang using a mix of Dimestore Vogue , Family Fun, and Family Fashion kits. Added a portion of a bingo craft card behind the teacup as well. Used wire to add beads, chipboard spoon and on the top to hang. Also added brown twirly twine to the top of the heart, adding the quote as well.
Used Cricut Expression (doodlecharms) to create the card and tag. Backed the heart cutout with small bingo craft cards and added tinted tape. Used the heart cutout on the teacups and tea bag. Enjoy your weekend and maybe find a few minutes to enjoy a cup of tea and vintage goodies.
