Monthly Archives: June 2012
I used the Party Games Paper Pack for two fun projects this month. Have I told you how much I love my 8 month old puppy? She is an adorable lab mix. We are still working on obedience, but she is a gem. So patient and loving. This month I decided to create a printers tray featuring Ms. Pearl. (Named for the Black Pearl, if you were wondering).
The words sweet and happy come from the red Twirly Twine packaging. Notice how I wrapped the yellow birthday candles with Twirly Twine? And I am loving the banner tied in place with more red Twirly Twine. I used old scrabble tiles for all of the title work. It is accented with other elements; tags, part of a bingo card, and an embossed star from the red foil. The duck is a vintage candle holder and the red circles are vintage clear tiddly winks pieces. The paws and the puppies are buttons I found at my local scrap store.
I love the images in this pack so much I decided to make BFF necklaces with the frogs. It is so simple to make these. All you need is a 1-inch circle punch, your party paper pack, a bottle cap necklace (or other round) blank, and glossy accents. Just punch the design you like out of the paper pack and carefully glue it into the necklace blank with glossy accents. Make sure it is very flat and well adhered. Let dry. Once dry carefully add glossy accents over the top to form a smooth protective surface. Let dry for a minimum of 6 hours. String your pendant on ribbon, leather or a chain and you have a super quick BFF gift.
Here is one of the pendants on my BFF! Have a wonderful end of June and enjoy the paper packs at Vintage Street Market!
Thanks for checking my projects out!
Oh, how I love the Party Games paper sheets & tags crafting set! With the bright colors, fun designs and yellow crepe paper, what’s not to love?
This month I whipped up a couple cards using the Party Games paper and tags.
On this card I thought it would be fun to use the spinner die cut from the Party Games kit to create a good luck card. I added some Numbers Tape to banner to give it a little extra detail that ties in with the number spinner theme.
These cards came together in no time using the coordinated papers and die cuts and are easy to adapt to any theme! I hope you’ll give them a try!… Read the rest
Hi everyone~I have been creating with the super cute, Dimestore Vogue. I love those gals!!! They are truly fashionista’s!! I wanted to use photos of my boys and their families, so this paper was perfect!!! Here is the first one~
I love the baby blue color and the craft bingo card matched so well.
I used old dictionary pages to cover the dress form chipboard piece ~ love that look. Here is the second gal~ she loves pink!!!!
On this layout I loved how I was able to cut the banner out of the paper, and use it as an embellishment. A little Twirly Twine made it look extra special!!!!
I used the Family Fun/Glamour Mom to make some pocket cards. One sheet of paper makes two cards!!! I folded the paper in half, selecting the side with the images for the fronts of the pocket. I had just enough left to make a tag, which goes inside the pocket. I used Tinted Tape/Soot to close the bottom of the pocket. I also added the Tinted Tape to the bottom of the tag. Take a look~
One more thing I wanted to share with you~I love to go junkin’ and while in Indiana visting my oldest, we went junkin’:):). Yes, it made me happy!!! I found the cutest kids stamp set and it had to come home with me~
I think it is adorable!!! Thanks for stopping by today and I’ll see ya soon!!! by: Connie M… Read the rest
If there are things I love it’s bright colors and parties! Luckily for me there is the party games paper sheets and tags to use when getting all of my party needs ready! They are so fun and easy to use not only for wrapping gifts, but also for making a card to go along with a gift!
Fun, right?! It’s easy when you add a bingo craft card or a shipping tag and doily! You can have fun and festive right at your finger tips! Plus the sheets and tags are totally a bargain coming in under $10! Inexpensive and fun — a winning combination!
This month I decided to use the Party Games Paper Sheets and Tags to create some vintage layouts of my husband and his siblings.
These fun and whimsical images bring back wonderful memories of days gone by.
By cutting out the banner pieces from the Party Games Paper Sheets, I created my own by using the Twirly Twine, brads and crystals. I also used the Bingo, Top and Game Spinner Tags to complete the look.
I hope this inspires you to use Party Games in your scrapbooking projects.
