Classic Car Father’s Day Card & Dimestore Vogue Tag with a Stick Pin Holder
Hello Heidi here today! I have a couple of fun projects to share with you today using the Vintage Street Market Paper Kits, Twirly Twine and Tinted Tape so lets get started.
With Father’s Day right around the corner I thought I would share a card I designed using the Distinguished Dad pattern paper from the Family Fun Paper Kit. I love the classic car!
I fussy cut the circle tag from the same piece of pattern paper and then I added some Red Twirly Twine to the top of the card. I used 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to layer and adhere the tag to the card.
To add a little more dimension to the card I added Clear Round Bubble Caps (14) from Epiphany Crafts to the headlights on the front of the car. I also added Aged Tinted Tape to all four corners.
For the card base I used Dusk Blue and for the mat is used Really Red cardstock both from Discount Cardstock.
For my second project I designed tag with a stick pin holder at the bottom. I started out with a large shipping tag and then I added one of the tags from Dimestore Vogue Paper Sheets & Tags. Next I added a paper doily to the side of the tag and then applied Linen Tinted Tape all around the edges of the top half of the tag.
Next I made a paper flower using S5-050 Rose Creations die template from Spellbinders and old book pages. I added a pink handmade crochet flower and a blue flower shaped button to the center. Then I added Cotton Candy Stickles to the edges on the flower. I added one of the tickets and twine from the Pink Twirly Twine. I also added a little silver scissors brad and a tiny spool.

I scored and punched holes in the blue cardstock and adhered it to the bottom of the tag. Then I added Sheer Ivory Pleated Trim and Pink Double Ruffle Ribbon to cover up where the two pieces of paper meet. Then I added some flower shaped buttons to the bottom and a seam binding bow. To finish of the tag I added my stick pins. All of the ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Vintage Street Market Blog today! I hope you enjoyed the projects I shared with you and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Heidi
