End of Summer
Well, it is almost time for school to start here in the Northwest. Some of you have already gotten over the first day……..congratulations! I was looking through some older photos and got inspired to scrapbook some of the fun events of past summers.
The first LO features Kitchen Kitsch found at Vintage Street Market. It shows some Vintage Fusion – old and new made fun! I took these photos of my DS, DH and my feet. I made these bricks quite awhile ago. When we made a basketball pad in the backyard we had the concrete folks lay them in on the edge. Now my DS has feet bigger than mine, but this is such a fun memory!
Supplies used for this LO were:
- Bingo Craft Cards
- Patterned paper from Crate Paper
- A Vintage Milk Bottle Top
- Vintage Bingo Markers
- Ink from Prima: Dark Bark
- Pink Paislee Timber wood letters
My second LO is from Disneyland and again uses Kitchen Kitsch combined with some great Vintage Street Market papers and embellishments.
Supplies used for this LO include:
- Bazzill Dotted Swiss Card Stock in Deep Sea
- Patterned Papers – Echo Park For the Record Picket Fence, VSM Family Fun Distinguished Dad, Brother Fashions
- Letters October Afternoon Mini Market Pink and Black
- Embellishments – Ranger Stickles Burgundy and Ruby Slippers, Metal Fork, VSM Brother Paper Doll, VSM Tinted Tape in Linen, Words from the Dimestore Vogue paper pack, and Twirly Twine in Red
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful school year everyone.
Special Delivery
Hello everyone and happy Monday! I’m excited to share a couple projects that incorporate some new products that are in the shop.
This first layout features a photo of my Dad when he was a mail man. The VSM Bingo Card was perfect as the base for my photo and I built the layout around those two elements.
For my next project, I cut a berry basket and strawberries using my Silhouette Cameo and filled the basket with chocolate treats…the perfect little thank you gift.
For the filling in the basket, I cut the crepe paper into strips and placed the chocolates on top.
If you haven’t been to the Vintage Street Market shop recently, head over and check out all the new goodies. There are lots of new and vintage products that are perfect for all your paper crafting needs!… Read the rest

Masculine cards
Hello there! Summer is wrapping up and it has me excited for fall and all things crisp and festive. I’m looking forward to Halloween and Halloween crafts! But, until then, I will keep making less themed items, including birthday cards like these!
This card includes some fun, new to the shop, vintage fusion items from Crate Paper. However, it also includes some authentic vintage items from the shop, as well! Love how easy it is to mix these old and new pieces to make a great card.
It’s also easy to create a fun and masculine card using the Vintage Street Market goodies — look how well the punch outs, patterned papers and bingo craft cards go together!
I know I will keep creating fun, festive things until the calendar switches over to fall — show me what you’re making until then, too!… Read the rest
Creating Memories one Vintage Layout at a Time
I am so excited to be able to capture and document my special memories of today with vintage inspired layouts that give me the feel of down home vintage goodness.
Vintage Street Market not only offers vintage inspired papers, Bingo Craft Cards, tapes and embellishments but also offer vintage empheria and alpha bits.
When using vintage alpha bits, if a letter is missing fill it in with stickers.
You don’t have to use the Bingo Craft Cards just as they are… Why not use a punch to create something different?
On this layout I highlighted the photos by punching a corner punch from the Bingo Craft Cards. Everytime I look at these pictures it brings back wonderful memories and a big smile to my face.
Ingredients:
Cake Walk-Candles by October Afternoon
Toybox Collecton-Story Time by Crate Paper
With the wonderful selection of vintage inspired products from Vintage Street Market and their selection of vintage emphera and goodies, it makes creating such a joy.
Wishing you all a creative day.
