To start off the year, I created a large magnet to post on a refrigerator or file cabinet.

She is super simple to put together with vintage and new items.

Focus on cards

Hi everyone, it’s Diane! Today I wanted to focus on cards. One can never have too many cards in their stash, right?! I know I can’t so I decided to whip up a couple quick & easy cards using the Party Games Paper Sheets & Tags. I used the tag sheet included in the collection for the focal point of both cards.

This first card will be perfect for the hostess of a New Year’s party.

I used the crepe paper to make a ribbon behind the dog tag. For the finishing touch I stamped Celebrate on the banner the dog is holding and tied a ribbon to the top of the tag.

This next card is a perfect thank you for someone special.

To finish the card off and give it a little extra sparkle, I added some Stickles to the ice cream!

Have a fabulous day everyone and enjoy the last few days 2012!… Read the rest

Merry Christmas to all~

Hi everyone, Connie here with some last minute Christmas ideas.  I am loving the Vintage Fusion kits {where old and new meet}, what a great idea!!!!  My first project is a layout using old and new~

I used the Red Striped paper by Making Memories and the Holly paper by Jenni Bowlin.  The Holly leaves were fussy cut out and used as embellishments!!

Also used were the vintage Christmas seals and red Twirly Twine to make a banner under the photos!!!  You can get full instructions on this project and other Christmas  projects in the new Vintage Street Market Idea Booklet 2012.

These were so fun to make.  I used the Snowman paper by Cosmo Cricket  and made them into gift tags.   I added buttons and brads to make them festive.

I used the bits of paper from the Holly paper and made a few more gift tags.  Nothing left over !!!!  This blog post will post on Decemeber 25th { Merry Christmas} ~ so when you get a chance , get your coffee and relax and take a look at the idea book~you can see it HERE.  Hoping and wishing your day is fabulous!!! See ya soon!!!!  by~ C. MercerRead the rest
