A Vintage Scrapbook

2 Comments | Leave a new comment

Ah, the relaxing days of summer! Well, at least that’s the ideal, until you account for all the activities that get planned, the kids’ sports, busy vacations, summer house to-do projects, etc.  Suddenly that relaxing Summer gets much busier than you thought, and its hard to schedule just sitting on the patio sipping iced tea!  Its all fun though, and certainly something you want to remember. But, when its that busy, who has time to sit down and create layouts? Instead create a vintage scrapbook with the newly designed Vintage Scrapbook Kit!

This kit contains everything you need, including step-by-step instructions to create a fun book of memories! Instead of designing a formal layout, simply jot down your dates and memories on scrap sheets of vintage ephemera and slip them into pockets, or slide behind a ribbon holder, along with your photos. Super quick, and super cute!  Super portable too!

Quantities are limited, and Summer is flying by, so pick up your Vintage Scrapbook kit today! Who knows, you just might have time for that iced tea on the patio after all!

Happy creating!
Michelle

Where is the sunshine……cloudy here…and on the first day of Summer too! Bummer!   I have a fun little colorful number to share with you made for Vintage Street Market.  I used papers from Crate paper and the family fun paper kit. .   I had fun creating my own sunshine using a wood circle that I stamped my sentiment onto and added “rays” too using some paper scraps and a bingo craft card .  I topped it off with a vintage red button.  I added some diecut clouds for dimension and ribbons of course.   I love the bright happy look to this…and of course the red and aqua.  I never tire of this combo…one of my very favorites.  Hope it is shining sunshine where ever you are! Happy Summer to you all.  hugs, cherry

Happy Birthday Dad!

This month is filled with birthdays for me including my Dad’s.  He celebrated earlier this week and tomorrow we will meet as a family for a great time with a big celebration.  Here is the card I am giving him.

I used a brown card base that I rounded the corners of and then added pattern paper and a journaling card from Family Fun Paper Kit.  I created the loop with vintage 16mm film which I embellished with a button tied with brown Twirly Twine.  I stitched a little and then added some clear stickers for an easy sentiment.  I hope you like!… Read the rest
