Hello everyone! Heidi, here today and I have a card to share with you using paper from the Family Fun Set Paper Kit Meghan Kay Paper, tags from Dimestore Vogue Paper Sheets & Tags and some fun embellishments.
For the card base I used pink lemonade cardstock. Then I added the pink oval die cut, tag and tickets using 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
For the top part of the card I added some crochet lace trim and pink ric rac from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Then I added the Making Memories Garment Pin with a gem drop and some pearls.
For the bottom part of the card I added a blue crochet flower, pink mulberry flowers, buttons and some pearls.

Happy Easter Sweet Treats
Hello everyone! Heidi, here today and I have a sweet little treat to share with you.
Easter is right around the corner and I altered a clear box and added some pastel M&M’s for a perfect little gift. I wrapped the clear box with light blue seam binding and small rosette trim. Then I fussy cut the card with the little lamb from the Crate Paper Little Boy Blue paper collection and I added some fruit punch stickles to the bow. Then I added a pink paper flower with some stickles, a vintage button and Pink Twirly Twine.
Next I added a light blue seam binding bow and a handmade stickpin.
Then I fussy cut one of the tags from the Pink Twirly Twine packet. To create the second tag I used the pink pattern paper from the Dimestore Vogue Paper Sheets & Tags collection and then I added the tiny alpha stickers to spell Easter.
Thank you so much for stopping by the Vintage Street Market Blog today!
I hope you have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Heidi

Vintage Valentine
Hello, Heidi here today and I have a couple of Valentine cards to share with you using some of the wonderful VSM products.
Here is the first card that I designed. I used one of the Bingo Craft Cards for the background. I added a piece of a paper doily in the bottom corner and stamped a sentiment. Then I inked the edges for the Bingo Craft Card and added the ribbon. Using one of the Making Memories Garment Pins I added a Making Memories Chandelier Beads Noel and pinned that to the ribbon.
Next I used a mini heart punch to punch out some hearts with the red foil from the Party Games Paper Sheets & Tags collection. I glued the red foil hearts in place, added the lady die cut and the peral heart.
To finish off the card I added some cotton candy Stickles to the dress, hat and shoes on the lady die cut.

This is the second card that I designed and for this one I used a sweet vintage Valentine image from the The Graphics Fairy.
I used die templates from Spellbinders to create all of the die cuts and then I layered them using 3D foam squares in between the layers. For the background I used some of the red foil from the Party Games Paper Sheets & Tags collection. I love this red foil! It can be used for so many different occassions.
To finish of the card I added mulberry paper roses and then for a little sparkle I added Ranger Icicle Stickles to the image and the roses.

Easy Vintage Pockets
Hi there! Amy checking in for January with two little pockets I sewed (GASP!) using lots of VSM goodies. It’s been a learning process on use my sewing machine but I must admit there is something rewarding about completing a project with machine stitches. I am still to scared to sew any clothing item but these small pockets are super simple and you can even hand stitch if you don’t own a sewing machine. So let’s get started!
First, I used canvas that I cut into long rectangles and simple folded to create my pocket. Yep, it’s that easy. I added pattern paper with a thicker weight because it makes the pocket more sturdy. I used a die cut button with the word friend layered with a vintage gold ribbon underneath. I wrapped lace and twine around the pocket and tied it with a vintage button. I made a little pennant using the ruler print and stapled the corner and added a green flower. I tucked a feather behind for added texture. The last step is to embellish with pearl accents. around “friends”.
The next pocket is the same concept. Except I fussy cut a little girl image, punched a red foil border, and added a red ticket with the word “sweet”. I embellished with photo corners and a metal flower.
This is the inside of the pockets. These would be great to tuck in a note, a piece of jewelry or candy if so inclined.
Supplies to make these pockets:
- canvas fabric
- Vintage Street Market die cut and ruler print paper Party Sheet’s and Tags “Dimestore Vogue”
- Vintage Street Market Twirly Twine (aqua and red)
- Vintage Street Market red foil from Paper Sheet’s and Tags “Party Games”
- Vintage Street Market girl image from Family Fun Collection
- My Mind’s Eye pattern paper
- May Arts yellow ribbon and lace
- Jolene’s Boutique metal and resin flowers
- vintage button and foil sticker
- other feather, Distress Old Photo ink

January Pastels @ Vintage Street Market
Happy 2013 to all!
Keri here, sharing some pastel-inspired projects for January. For me, this January I’m inspired by soft pastels, icy blues, pale pinks, not to mention the gorgeous Winter Garden kit now available in the VSM store…how lovely is that subtle palette?! Love it.
For my layout, I highlighted the pastels from the Sewing Room collection, as well as Dimestore Vogue:
Lots of angles & layers on this one…soft & sweet & reminiscent to me of those baby days a decade ago, when this photo was taken.
Next up, a card made with one of my favorite images from the Family Fun paper collection:
I embossed the aqua foil, and made a quick scallop flower from the brown crepe…definitely two of my go-to favorite products that Vintage Street Market offers.
I hope the New Year is treating you kindly, and that you are inspired & motivated to create something new of your own this month!
~Keri
