1 Comment | Leave a new comment

Hello everyone!  Heidi, here today and I have a card to share with you using paper from the Family Fun Set Paper Kit Meghan Kay Paper, tags from Dimestore Vogue Paper Sheets & Tags and some fun embellishments.

For the card base I used pink lemonade cardstock.  Then I used the pink pattern paper from Family Fun Set Paper Kit Meghan Kay Paper and Sheet Music along with the S5-131 A2 Matting Basics A and S5-132 A2 Matting Basics B die templates to create the matts.  Then I added the pink oval die cut, tag and tickets using 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

For the top part of the card I added some crochet lace trim and pink ric rac from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Then I added the Making Memories Garment Pin with a gem drop and some pearls.

For the bottom part of the card I added a blue crochet flower, pink mulberry flowers, buttons and some pearls.

Thank you so much for stopping by the VSM Blog today!  Don’t forget to hop on over to the Store and check out all of the vintage goodies!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Heidi

Easter with a bunny and bonnet~

Hi everyone~ Connie here!!!  I have been enjoying creating. I’m a little early for Easter but I had the perfect pictures so I went for it!!!

I used the Family Fun paper ,  Bingo Craft cards, Twirly Twine, Tinted Tape (soot)~all of these can be found here.   The exclusive Vintage Street Market’s ephemera and buttons were also added.

This layout is using the same ingredients as the one above.  I wish you could have seen this bonnet in person.  All my granddaughter’s idea.  She used a coffee filter to make the bonnet~so cute and so crafty!!!!  She was quite proud of herself:):)

I love using the ephemera from the Vintage Street Market store!!  I love the look it gives a layout ~mixing old with new!!   Thanks for stopping by today!!! by: C. MercerRead the rest

January Pastels @ Vintage Street Market

Happy 2013 to all!

Keri here, sharing some pastel-inspired projects for January.  For me, this January I’m inspired by soft pastels, icy blues, pale pinks, not to mention the gorgeous Winter Garden kit now available in the VSM store…how lovely is that subtle palette?!  Love it.

For my layout, I highlighted the pastels from the Sewing Room collection, as well as Dimestore Vogue:

Lots of angles & layers on this one…soft & sweet & reminiscent to me of those baby days a decade ago, when this photo was taken.

Next up, a card made with one of my favorite images from the Family Fun paper collection:

I embossed the aqua foil, and made a quick scallop flower from the brown crepe…definitely two of my go-to favorite products that Vintage Street Market offers.

I hope the New Year is treating you kindly, and that you are inspired & motivated to create something new of your own this month!

~Keri

Hi everyone~Connie here with a super cute treat to make for all your special “peeps”!!   The paper is by October Afternoon (Cakewalk) and the orange pumpkins (made with an oval punch) are from the Party Games paper sheets and tags collection.  Also used are the Bingo  Craft cards (orange) and the Family Fun Collection.

The treat bag was simple and fun to make.  I used a vintage sandwish bag (made out wax paper) to hold my treats!!!   Have a fun and a safe Halloween~

October Fun

Hey there! Amy checking in for October with a card I created.  Did you enjoy the May Arts projects?  Ribbon and VSM paired together equals lots of fun to me!  :-)

I used Marshall Matthew from Family Fun  to cover my card base.  Next I trimmed a panel of vintage dictionary paper and punched four holes on the right side.  I tucked a piece of Maggie Jane also from Family Fun behind it for color.  I made a pennant with Meghan Kay paper and tucked under the dictionary print and stapled a ticket from Aqua Twirly Twine to attach.

I cut the little girl from Party Games and used foam dots to adhere to card front.  Next I stapled a ticket from Party Games.   I tied a bow with the Aqua Twirly Twine and used washi tape a red paper clip to complete.

I hope you like!  Thanks for stopping by!
