Party Games Fun!
For June’s projects, I dug into my Party Games collection! Its bright, happy colors & fun retro images were perfect for my crafting plans this past month.
I started out with this Sweet Sisters layout:
To enhance my “sweet” theme, I made embellishments out of the gorgeous glossy candy/sweets themed images from the paper sheet. For added interest & sugary-sparkle, I added vintage pink glitter to the ice cream cone die-cut & to the back of some small epoxy circles.
For subtle journaling strips, I used strips of Linen Tinted Tape, and wrote/stamped on it with permanent ink & markers…just the soft look I was going for on this page!
Since there’s so many different types of little images on the Party Games paper sheet, I was able to create some great custom accents for a Zoo-themed layout, up next:
The thin, glossy, vibrant images were perfect for layering on top of rounded-corner chipboard. The colors & designs were a great match for a beloved animal-themed patterned paper from my existing paper stash too!
The shiny foil sheet is easily punchable, even in super-thin circle frames as I did here. The inside of the circle made perfect “wheels” for my zoo-cart design at the bottom of the page.
I just LOVE using the vintage film for ribbon-like borders too…here, it perfectly grounds my large title letters:
My last project for the month is a quick & simple notebook for my daughter, which she took with her on her field trip so she could take notes & draw animal pictures.
I stitched some lined paper inside an orange cardstock cover, & added a bingo card image, some numbers tape, & some twirly twine. She LOVED the little gift, & enjoyed using it on her fun school outing.
The variety of the products included in the Party Games set is so great, I really enjoyed creating with this adorable, versatile collection!
